Crews set up planters, painted wall art, organized libraries, cleaned the grounds and put together picnic tables.
I figured the picnic table assembly would be an easy route to a great sense of accomplishment. Wrong.
Turns out that reading the directions first is the difference between attaching your legs one time or four. Bringing your own tools is never a bad idea.
Sharing two drills with 20+ people putting together six tables isn’t exactly a streamlined process.
At long last (after many grunts and much sweat), our super sturdy table was ready for lunch. Many thanks to the Bloom Church Crew who showed up!
